Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to maintain, alter, repair and replace all electrical systems, equipment, fixtures and controls throughout campus. The position requires a supervising electrical license. This position holds the legal responsibility for insuring that all electrical work on campus complies with applicable NEC and Oregon electrical codes. The incumbent plans, designs, estimates, orders materials, and organizes new and renovated installations. This position directs and supervises maintenance personnel in the performance of campus electrical maintenance. This position obtains and signs for electrical permits.
This position is eligible for Oregon Tech's comprehensive benefits offerings. Classified Full-time Employees working 0.75 FTE or greater are eligible for medical, dental, vision and basic life with a full time contribution (95%-97% depending on plan selection) from the University.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Per Classification: Two years of journey-level experience planning, designing, installing, and maintaining building pneumatic electronic, and electrical control and distribution systems and possession of one of the following Oregon Electrician’s Licenses appropriate to the work to be performed: General Supervising Electrician License, General Journeyman Electrician License.

- Valid driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
